Learned the hard way a few years ago - dont order an 8 board for an 8 cakeor its almost impossible to move the decorated cake, add a piped border on the bottom, etc. Rookie mistake. Oof!This time I bought one size up - so 10 boards for an 8 cake, and it was perfect. Boards are high quality, sturdy, and wipe pretty clean if youre cleaning up the outer surface after decorating.FWIW, I decorate my cakes on a rotating cake stand with a non-slip circular mat holding the cake board in place on the stand.

They are so sturdy and they fit perfectly different size cakes. Love that they come in a pack so if I make 2 or more cakes I have enough boards. They also come in white, gold, and silver and they are so decorative, they make your cakes look so pretty

These Wilton boards are perfect. I learned my lesson a few months ago when I bought some discount brand of 6 inch cake boards and not only were they not grease proof, but they also were not perfectly round, so it was incredibly frustrating to use those. Glad to see the Wilton ones available again. Would highly recommend these.

It's a circular piece of cardboard that holds up well enough. It will get squished down if you mess with it too much, but I still never had any problems with it.
