I was using cheap 0.7mm pencils, but I'm a fidgeter, so most of them failed with a used-up eraser or a lost eraser due to my fidgeting. The large retractable erase prevents me from losing it or consuming it prematurely. Now my favorite note-taking pencil, and reasonably inexpensive.

I have bad hands. The cushioning on this pencil allows me to use it for hours a day. The long twist eraser is what sells the pencil. Those teeny tiny erasers that come with standard mechanical pencils are almost worthless. Not only does this eraser last a really long time, it is replaceable. I use the same pencils for years and just keep replacing the lead, and way less often, the eraser. These are the best. Worthy every penny. I bring my own to work.
