My friends call this my 34;Hunter's Hat.34; I am not a hunter, but I do lead hikes and want to be seen by those in the fast group ahead of me, and the slow group behind me. The bright orange really stands out and is very obvious when hiking across our winter desert. It's adjustable for most any head size and is lightweight. The bill and top are stiff, though, so it's not as comfortable as perhaps a runner's cap of the same color brightness. I like the reflective silver on the sides and back.

This hat is very bright as the photo shows. I like the location of the reflective material which is highly reflective. It's comfortable enough, too. Great for wearing during evening walks.

I bought this to wear when I take the dog for a walk at night. We don't have sidewalks and few street lights. This does make a difference in visibility and it's definitely worth the money if it allows drivers to see me earlier.
