The serves it's purpose for me. It's sturdy, no wobble or issues with it feeling like it will tip over. Padding is sufficient as to not mark your guitar's finish. I have this holding a 6, 7, and 8 string guitars which are all quite heavy. No issues to report.

As a professional musician this guitar stand works great. Rather than risk having your guitar knocked off a stand or scratched by laying on a table hang it here and all is well.

I was not sure at 1st due to a couple reviews but I went with my gut and it was a great decision. Can't beat the price, yes it is light but very much sturdy.Held my BC KKW and my bass with my other 6 string. When I remove one it does not tip or even worry me as far as tipping.I bumped into it today actually and didn't knock them over, so yes great buy, price and product worth it.

Nice sturdy stand. Exactly what I needed for 3 of my basses. Need to get another one for the other 3.

If you have more than 1 guitar that you use in a single setting, this stand is a must have. It's very sturdy and can hold my 12-string along with 2 other full body acoustic guitars! I've only had 2 on at a time and no problems with stability when I take 1 off the stand leaving a single guitar on it! I love mine for both in the studio and when performing!

this stand is very stable and it is very compact when folded up, so I give it good grades for function EXCEPT it doesn't work with slim style tele headstocks so this is a problem for gigging. If you have a tele with a strat style headstock, it's ok. At home, I can just put my teles on another stand but I bought this to use less stage space when gigging, and it defeats the purpose if I have to put 2 guitars on this and have to bring another stand for my tele. I would never have bought this if I knew it didn't fit teles so I am hoping to save someone else this aggravation. It really pisses me off because if the manufacturer had put some thought into this they could have just tightened up the spacing on the heads or used a V shape head that holds the headstock to make teles fit. The problem is that a tele headstock can slip through the opening and rest on the tuners and the high E string, potentially breaking a string in the process. I have several stands with a V shape head that hold all shape headstocks. I wish they had used a V shape on this stand.

I bought this thing looking for something to hang 3 sets of bagpipes on, and for that it's perfect. It sits at just the right height that my drones are off the ground, and it's stable enough to hold up 2 when I'm playing one. As a curiosity I tried it with my guitars and found that the holder is very tight around the necks of my guitars, so wider-neck guitars would be problematic, and they hang awkwardly sort of on top of one of the feet. I stood my bass on one of the rest things in the neck and it worked pretty well, but all in all I wouldn't recommend this for guitars, which is a weird thing to say. I never expected a product to be better for the stupid reason I purchased it that will never apply to anybody else than the reason for which it was designed.

It looks great but anything bigger than a Strat or Telecaster will not fit. I have a copy of a 61 SG and the tail is on the floor. Rhodes or a Flying V has no chance

This is a really good stand, and completely works great when holding two guitars. However, it can easily tip over when only one guitar is on the stand. I usually have my Ibanez guitars (12 lbs) on the stand, and it's definitely not stable unless I have a guitar on both hooks.
