Was a perfect OEM replacement. I looked up my part before ordering and verified that it looked identical to my old one. I made sure my furnace power switch was off. Once it arrived I took many many pictures and positions of my old one and numbered/labeled wires and labeled the old one where each wire and plug was. Then unhooked the old and followed my labeled numbers and pictures to the new one when I hooked back up. Flipped my furnace power back on and worked just as it should. Also arrived in less than 24 hours after purchasing.

Direct upgraded swap that will snap into placed using the original back plate and mounting screws. Fixed my furnace and seems to be running just fine! Would recommend over the cheaper non OEM alternatives.

After 24 years 1 of my 2 furnaces in a 2 family unit finally acted up. Problem: The furnace fired up, ran for 5 seconds then quit and constantly went through this cycle. It was throwing a code of 3 flashing yellow lights. It signified the replacement of the furnace vent air pressure switch. It checked out fine by me but I replaced it and the flame sensor anyway. The problem persisted. The technician I contacted did an excellent job checking out the furnace parts with his high-tech meters but blamed the problem on the thermostat. I had just replaced the thermostat a month earlier. He wanted $500 to replace it. Crazy right? So, I contacted Honeywell and had them run me through testing the thermostat with a Digital multimeter which the Tech did NOT do. Everything checked out fine. ONLY 1 thing left to replace and that was the circuit board. . . . The code it was throwing was false! I replaced it, which involves carefully identifying the serial number and crossing it over to Nordyne, labeling the wires and swapping them to the new board. I can only imagine the insane price he would of wanted to replace it at $150 an hour. The Nordyne is a direct replacement for my factory Tappen board which would have cost 3x the price. Good luck. You can do it.

Our church's air conditioning was not working and a stretch of 90 degree plus days were expected. The HVAC serviceman determined that part number FG6RA 144C-20C was needed for our Gibson unit. The cost was much better than it would have been if the hvac guy had sourced it through his supplier. Thanks to this part, we have been able to endure some over 90 degree days.
