I'd give it 5-stars if it was filled-in around the connector (cleaner look and easier to hit in the dark). Otherwise it was a great solution to cleanly put a USB charging jack on the front of my portable recording rig. I have lots of USB-A to USB-B cables about, so that connected me to a standard USB charger inside the rack. I already had another A-to-B adapter like this for the audio interface that is reversed, with the B-A cable on the inside going to the rack unit.

The most solidly constructed connector I have ever dealt with. This is industrial quality, at a Goodwill price. These with right angle USB cables inside my CNC control boxes, both bulletproof and space saving. Very well done!

I just want to point out that the USB connector is interchangeable - as in you can unscrew two screws in the back and flip this around either direction. As always, Neutrik connectors are top-notch and I'm very happy with the one I'm using.

Does everything it was made to do. I have this installed in a lowed dash kick-panel on my F-150. This way I can keep my Yaesu mobile's data cable plugged in all the time. This way when I want to program it, I literally just plug my laptop into the port in the kick-panel using a standard usb cable and program away, I dont have to get on my hands and knees and fiddle around trying to get the data cable plugged into the back of the radio.
