Some of the major differences between the MOD®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. Less than 5 minutes, replaced the old non op unit and reverb is perfect. The fit was exact, reverb sound quality is just right. Very happy. Great value.

1982 Peavey Backstage 20 - old pan faded away amp; died. Got this one which replaced the old 4EB2C1B perfectly. Was concerned that footprint might be smaller - or - 2 springs vs 3, but can confirm: works great, plenty of splash on tap, and very useable range with full rotation of knob. Total winner, would recommend.

I used this to replace a broken reverb on Peavy Blazer. I followed a YouTube video to modify it properly to connect to the amp, and it works nicely. It's very good for the price. This may be an issue with the Peavy, but the reverb only seems to work between 6 and 10 on the dial. The sound is full and pleasant, with a traditional spring reverb sound, and the decay can go pretty long, with the mix creating some big atmospheric tones.
