I am a tech oriented person and this was difficult for me to get to work. I was just about to send it back when I realized the tube rotates and then I think the sensors connected and it was able to make a reading. Once you get it to work, it is great. Use a pin that you use on your cell phone and a magnafying glass to get the date set. Just needs a slightly better trouble shooting section.

Checked against my doctor's office and this unit is accurate. Only shows total flow after 1 second and peak flow, but this is enough to monitor your asthma. A nice little software package stores the data on you PC and plots it, generating CSV files if you want to export the data.

The first unit I got was defective. The replacement arrived the next day. Worked well. I had some questions, so I called the company. Lady at customer service was great. took the time to answer all of my questions. Plus had a great positive attitude. Wish there were more companies that were this helpful.

The team is all the good they say and therefore I am not going to repeat that. But I have a big problem with the memory scroll keys because they seem to be stuck and when I press one they press both which generates many difficulties and leads to the erasure of the memory. I have had to use a pencil to make each one work more or less separately. The problem is that they come very close together and there is drag between them.

Generally medical devices are designed to a high standard of durability. This device was not, so I decided to return it rather than deal with a broken device in short order. Secondly the fancy carrying case, although well made is unnecessary because when travelling most would have an adequate place to stow this item from breakage. And my guess is that a frequent traveler with COPD would want a more compact travel case or like I said none at all.

Maybe I am doing it wrong or not enough but I can't see much difference in my breathing. I use it 2 or 3 times a day. Maybe it will just take longer
