My kiddo loved this toy. I got it for a plane ride to Hawaii for my 12 month old, and she enjoyed taking the shapes in and out and looking at the pictures, and picture flaps. We used it on an off the plane for that trip, and kept playing with it when we got home. At 18 months she was able to fit the shapes in on her own, and just loved playing with the shapes on her own. Unfortunately, we lost 5 of the 9 pieces at our cousin's house, but she still plays with the four remaining pieces and still likes the picture flaps. If I could buy replacement pieces, I would!

like the idea. its soft but design fail that no one test the shapes to make sure the Star can't fit into say the Circle or Hexagon.

Really did not like this product. The shapes are hard for my 17 month old to put it the holes because the padding in the casecond pushes them back out. So instead of trying to put the block there, she tries another hole even though that was the correct block. It makes her think it doesn't fit there. But I gave it 2 stars because she likes to carry it around

My kiddo loves this shape sorter. He received it around 16 months and liked playing with the shapes. It was not until he was about 21 months that he could actually put the correct shape in the corresponding hole with some help. Now at 2 years he is fairly proficient with the toy and enjoys the accomplishment of completing the puzzle on his own.
