We tried on several cars and this stuff does not live up to it's promises. Waste of time and of course money.

After sanding old discolored and cloudy headlights, this gave the final polish I needed to get the lens nice and clear.Steps used: 500grit wet or dry with Windex, 1000grit wet or dry with Windex, 2000 grit wet or dry with Windex, Meguiar's PlastX on a foam applicator with a portable drill.

i bought this hoping to improve my headlights..my vehicle is 8 yrs old and just starting to show some oxidation from the breakdown of the clearcoat on headlights from uv sun rays..i saw a tiny improvement but may need to re apply and see what happens..product is easy to apply and i also used it on my tail light assembly..i figure a $10 bottle is better than several hundred for a new headlight assembly..if it can help protect the hl assembly from yellowing and oxidation its worth a shot..also theres no reccommendation of often to use it,so ill apply it more often during summer months and less in winter months

I've used this for years to keep our headlights clear and shiny. It will not bring back very dull lights, but will help with slightly dull ones. If you have used a restorer, it helps with keeping the lenses clear for a few months, then simply reshine with the Plastx. If you have really dull lights, first wet sand with 800 grit sandpaper, then 1500, then 3000, then 5000, then use this product. Wet sand each finer grit a bit longer than coarser. For example, if you sanded for 2 minutes with the 800, sand for 4 minutes with the 1500, 6 with the 3000, and so on. It will still have a dull finish until you use the Plastx, then will be like new. Works great!

My favorite headlight cleaner. I am no detail pro by any means but I used to do the wet sand process but now I use a little of this with a hand polisher from Harbor freight with a good polishing pad and only need to go over my lights once. Then I typically use a protectant on it that I apply every couple months because I haven't made the time to try and Clear coat the lights or use a longer lasting protection. But this makes light work of faded lights. I've done this one 8 different vehicles all producing clear almost brand new, results!

This works well for my airplane windshield and doesn't scratch the plexiglass.
