Was good for a couple times then key very difficult to turn. Broke a key in it. Lock now stuck on bike. Need new key! Not sure how to get replacement key

This lock is one of those things which, if I had seen it in a store, I would not have bought it. The cable thickness is much less than I expected, and the advertised 5/16 thickness includes the plastic coating! A regular pair of household wirecutters could take care of this skimpy cable in no time. I'm almost tempted to see how little time it would take! Even before I opened the package, my thought was, I hope this is not the lock... it can't be the lock.., because it's way too light for a lock, except maybe a childhood diary..
