I'm a real reviewer--I was not paid to write this. I generally write reviews for things that are really great and helpful or complete fails. I'm writing this review because this worked for me!Long story short, I am EMF sensitive. No, not extreme like Better Call Saul's brother, but I definitely don't feel well around high RF/EMF energy sources. A few years ago after learning about EMF I wondered if this might be causing the same symptoms I was having. We started hardwiring the technology we could (highly recommend! better connection and no emf!) we shielded our router, turned our router off at night, put our phones on airplane mode when driving and sleeping, stopped using bluetooth, basically all the doable changes that could make a difference, and lo and behold I felt SO much better! I even saw a difference in my kids and my husband said he felt a difference. I know I'm sensitive because the headaches, on/off nausea, jaw pain, dizziness, etc I used to get off and on at home, I now get hanging out at a friend's house whose router is in the room we are in. I feel dizzy when someone has their bluetooth and phone on in their car, I can tell when a wifi booster is in a hotel room, the list goes on.This wrap was a lifesaver when I went to stay with family for a week. I had never been to their new house, and when my aunt walked me toward the guest room, my face fell as I knew before I walked in their router was in there. I try to kindly educate people on EMF stuff, but some you have to go slowly because you can either overwhelm them or be laughed at like you're crazy, and I wasn't about to dive in to this, as they were gracious to keep me and my daughter for a week before my husband and son could join us. My husband overnighted this shield (we used a similar one at home for our router), and it was instant relief. It worked so well, that my aunt who works from home had to knock on my door at 7 am because the wifi to her office on the other side of the house wasn't connecting :-D. The size is awesome and allows you to wrap extra or loose depending on if you want to shield or block. I now have it for me when I travel and It has come in handy for hotel boosters, and routers that are unavoidable in Airbnbs. I gave it 4 stars because I don't like that it isn't hemmed and has frayed, but overall I've been happy. We are now proudly wifi free! So I don't use this for my home router any more, but I found it was a great shield for useful for that. It has several other useful applications for reducing emf, and esp for travel as I mentioned. Also, for those of you that said you can still get a signal--I have a Trifield emf detector and can verify this works at lowering levels. When I was at my aunt's I thought at first it wasn't working because I was still getting a wifi signal on my phone in the room, and couldn't confirm levels as my detector was home. But when I felt better, and esp when my aunt couldn't get wifi, I facepalmed recalling that the general emf rule is that distance is your friend. Depending on how you wrap it, you will still be able to connect, especially the closer you are. My experience, and my meter confirms it reduces the emf levels, but feel free to take me at my word or not. I won't be offended ;-) But know I'm not getting paid--this is an honest review that took valuable time but that I ultimately hope is helpful to one or more. Take care!
