We really like Magformers, but this set was disappointing. It was pricey but the lights never worked correctly right out of the box. So it was just another set of building units. The shapes are cool and the girls like the castle and other things they can build so we kept it but certainly not worth the extra cost.

These are wonderful magnets to play and create with. My only complaint is that some of the things in the book that you can create require more magnets than what is in the box.

These are a great addition to our collection! The lights that come with it are great! They have numerous colors and are fun to use in our creations. My 4 year old loves these and creates things on her own or using the book. My 2 year old also loves to play with them. The only thing is there is only one charger for the lights, but it doesn't take long for them to get charged.

My 3 year old absolutely adores her 34;magnets34; and they have held her interest since she received them as a gift in January. This is a perfect starter set (especially since we got it for such a good price)! There are enough pieces to make large structures.

I tried to steer my daughter away from the 34;pink is for girls34; gender myth. But what can I tell you? She's only three years old and is easily influenced by her surroundings. She shows almost no interest in the gender-neutral Magformers sets that we got her for Christmas, but she LOVES this one. She still builds with them (houses, towers, furniture, a prison) and uses her imagination, so that's all I wanted. They're bright, strong, and versatile, just like your kids. The lights can be recharged with a USB cable (included), and they turn different colors with the click of a button on the bottom. Wait for the end of the year to get a good price on these. I paid $66 in December. But as long as you can get them for about a dollar per piece, you're getting a deal.
