We feel quite official now that we have our own pitching mound in the back yard. There is nothing cheap about this product. It is made of a VERY HEAVY rubber material. This should last for many years.

I bought this for my daughter to use in the backyard when she practices pitching. I also bought two horse stall mats (4' x 6' x 3/4) and taped then together with some Gorilla Tape to make a 4' x 12' mat for outdoor use. I glued the pitching plate to it and it works great.

When I put this in my daughters personal pitching mound in my back yard. I took it to the fields (ours keep getting stolen). I was unable to get it in the field without extra help. Ended up breaking first one. They sent me a new one really quick. The size and shape are perfect. Spikes are just too thick.

I picked the middle rating because I don't know how the recipient liked or disliked it. I did not use it so I can't rate it correctly. You need to make a space for products purchased as gifts!

I decided to construct a practice pitcher's area in my backyard for my 10 year old Grandson. After building the mound, I topped it off with this pitcher's rubber.....measured my distance to homeplate.....cleared that area.....and installed my homeplate. He loved it! We can practice anytime without competing with others for access to the city's baseball field. It is great.

Simple enough plate. Has 4 nail type things that you screw on to the plate and literally jam it into the field.

We bought this as a compliment to the home plate and pitch back. Quality of mound is decent but threads on bottom barely hold spikes in place. We are lucky if we get two threads to hold spikes in.

I bought this for my son to practice pitching in the backyard. Have not used the posts yet, so it moves a little, but tolerable.. I think that will be alleviated when I nail it down. Heavy duty enough too.

Works great. Stakes into the ground and stays put. Pitcher can push off of the rubber and it doesn't move. Easily sets up anywhere

Very impressive quality and size. Much better product than what you can buy in BigBrand Sporting Goods stores for same $$$. We bought one of those and while it lasted for 2-3 years, it was not the size, weight, or quality of this one. I imagine we will get him through high school (6 years) with this one. Don't hesitate to buy this one for a second.
