Thread pitch is not marked on the taps, but they are what I ordered 8x1.25.Made a good thread in mild steel.

This is an excellent tap. Tapped 50 holes 1/4 wall mild steel; hole drilled is 17/64. Stayed sharp no issues.

Had a stud pull out from my turbo and I needed to chase the thread out to get a new stud in. As usual the placement was not in an easy to get to location. I used a little Tap Magic and the thread worked as it should. Cleaned it out with brake cleaner afterwards and used Loctite to secure a new stud in. My car is working perfectly once again.

Bought these to tap out the holes in a harmonic balancer on a V6 engine to be able to screw bolts into the holes to pull it off the crankshaft. Worked as they should.
