worth every penny even though it likes to fall off sometimes. but once you have the tool under the belt and start cranking, it works its magic. can't imagine doing belt replacements without this tool!

A good quality part but did not go well with the smallish sized pulley of a 2021 Blue Oval 3cyl 1.5L. I ended up cutting the old belt off and using the 'zip-tie method' to put the new one on. Live and learn.

I thought this would make the job way easier. It didn't. It's not really universal and will slip out and smack you in the face. Trust me, I know. That's why i'll be sporting a pretty good shiner this week. What a waste of money. I had such high hopes. You know what actually worked way better? Zip ties....

I had read ahead of time that I needed a special tool in order to replace the accessory drive belt on my X5. I used it to remove the old one and install the new one. With this tool, it was no problem at all.

Honda CR-V's do not have much clearance to remove and replace the serpentine belt but with this tool set, it makes the job so much easier.

Had to replace the AC drive belt on a Ford Fusion. Easily remove the old belt, as well as installing the new one.The magnet on the tool makes it easier to get things setup.

Great little tool that's a must for replacing 'Stretch Belts'. Easy off and on action. Magnet holds the tool in place on the pully which keeps it from falling off into lost territory or onto your head.

The balancer on my 2020 F150 sits too close to the timing cover. The tool will not clear the cover. I had to use the popular zip tie method.

Used this tool to install an alternator belt on a 1976 Coachmen RV w/ a 460 Ford engine on an E350 chassis. Took 10 minutes to install and adjust tension. Harmonic balancer bolt used for manual turning of the engine with a socket had a 15/16 head. I did this job alone, 72 years young, over the hill but picking up speed. Nice invention.

Cheap device, and it didn't break. But man, it was a whole afternoon of hard labor. The magnet was meaningless - the forces involved are way too strong for the magnet to help with anything meaningful. The device did not fit where it said we should use it, but we did manage to find a pulley we could get it around to get the old belt off, and another pulley we could get it around to get the new one one. Fair warning: it took two or three passes to get the new belt all the way seated in the grooves. Now, the fact that it was hours of back-breaking work was not the fault of this little device. I love my Mazda5, but it is foolishness for any manufacturer to fit a stretch belt instead of JUST PUTTING A STINKIN' TENSIONER PULLEY ON IT! But as long as you're stuck with changing a stretch belt, and you're willing to spend your time and knuckle skin to save the cost of hiring a mechanic, there's a good chance this thing will help you out.
