Third one of these ive bought over 45 years. One of the best buys around and critical for the man cave engine builder only reason its the third purchase. Is friend's and kids either keep em or go full stupid

The tool worked as advertised, however you do have to keep a lot of pressure on the top keep it from cocking over. As long as you don't take too deep of a cut it works well, but is jolly hard work, and I was only working on a four- cylinder engine.

I'm a certified master mechanic with over 40 years of experience. I tried multiple times to get this tool to work and could not. It always cut the cylinder with a taper at the top. Used on 1970 dodge 340 cubic inch V engine, doesn't get any simpler than that.

I used this to enlarge the center hole of one of the steel rims for my truck. It worked fine for awhile, but I really taxed it and the cutting edge is starting to dull a bit, even though I kept it piled the whole time. Just be sure to purchase extra cutting blades.

This thing is a cheap piece of junk. It broke on the second cylinder. It looks like the carbide cutter is just barely adhered to the piece of metal thats supposed to be an entire cutter. You can see the red water marks where it was disbonded when I received it. It turned sideways in my cylinder and could have scored the wall. They really cheaped out on the most important piece to this tool.

Takes care in use to keep it from riding up, but does the job so that pistons can be removed. Good tool.

I should have believed the review in which someone said they could've done a better job by hand using a die grinder. He was right. This tool is a pice of garbage. I don't see how it can get such good ratings.

First time ever used a ridge reamer. Worked great for my purpose. Quickly removed the ridge and ready for the next project.

its one of those tools that you only need a couple times... ever. So the quality is good enough. Very basic tool, but it does the job. For the price, it's a bargain. Of course, I won't be able to find it the next time I need it, which will probably be years from now, so I'll have to buy another one! Lol
