This is one of those tools with multiple uses. I use to to install lugs and when installing rotors to hold it in place. And for the price, I haven't had any issues with it cracking or anything to say how well made it is.

worked very well installing new wheel studs on 2014 Mitsubishi out-lander sport. Nice addition of a bearing on the rear surface so that it doesn't tear up matting surface for rims.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works well at drawing studs in. Lisle is a good tool company so it's as expectednbsp;

This made installing wheel studs a breeze. Another great tool with simple design from LIsle.nbsp; Ease of use: put the stud in the hole on the wheel hub assembly, put the Lisle tool bearing side against the hub, then use a lug nut to pull the stud through the hole with a ratchet. Super easy.

this tool is too thick to use for my carry-on trailer. the hub studs are 2" total length, 1 3/4" from inside edge of the flange to threaded tip. that is NOT long enough to put this tool in and thread the lug into. i am catcing only one thread. i need to seat the stud with just a lug nut until 1/3 of the way in. then stop, put this tool on, and THEN there are enough threads caught to safely screw the lug nut onto the tool as the stud imbeds itself

A must have if you change a lot of studs.

I stripped two lug nuts and two brand new studs into a brand new hub. I used an impact wrench., first time on low then high power. The lug nuts did not bottom out nor did I over torque them. Twice because I thought I had done something wrong the first time but no. Tool probably works fine on old studs because the hole is already slightly bigger. Instead use a press to put them in.

This little tool is awesome. I swapped out 10 studs with no problem today. It felt great because when you deal with cars there's always something I to crop up and make things more difficult. I suggest getting this name brand tool and not the knock offs. You'll be glad you did
