For removing springs/retainers this tool it magical. Such an awesome and easy tool to use. For installing the springs/retainers there are better tools, but removal..nothing beats this tool. Great quality!

Used to replace valve stem seals on an old Hyundai/Mitsubishi 2.4l four cylinder. The smaller tool was the better option. Absolutely zero issues doing the job, even with the fidgety two-piece valve spring retainer keepers. This tool works a lot better than my old 34;hit a socket with a hammer and pray34; method. :)

works great for removing and installing valve seats on my 1983 suzuki GR650. a bit over priced in my opinion for what it is.

So, I know there are mixed reviews. This tool is no joke. It is a piece of cake for removing the keepers but be careful on install. If head is still on the block, which is why I bought it, then prepare for a test of endurance, patience, looking for keepers that don't set properly on the first try and it requires some meticulously applied strength on the valve springs (as straight as possible). SECURE THE ENGINE FROM TURNING OVER IF YOU ARE USING COMPRESSION IN THE CYLINDER, take your time, maybe have a helper I did not, use some sort of thin easily manipulated cloth to put around each valve you are working with, I didn't, this could prevent incorrectly seated keepers frome falling into your head during install(happened to me luckily they were found without pulling head). I was able to complete the job and have the engine runing again in 12 hours. Try to find some youtube videos to watch. SECURE ROTATING ASSEMBLY AND GO EASY ON INSTALL. It gets the job done!

Worked amazing and super easy to use. Made my build go by fast. Definitely recommend. I used this on my b16 build.

Better to buy this version with both tools than either size individually... You never know when you'll have clearance issues. Fortunately, this worked well on a Mazda Miata to replace the valve seals.

Product was used for a 2.2L Ecotec motor. Removal was EASY. Installation has made me hate valve keepers. As others have said, GM valve keepers prove rather troublesome to install. I'll put it this way... Some of the valve keepers were installed in two minutes. Others took half an hour. I have 16 valves to do, and have about 3 hours total invested so far. Very trying, very unpredictable. But the tool is quality.

I like this tool very much use it on Subaru valves.

Awesome tool for doing valve stem seals! Wish I would have bought one years ago.

I have only used the remover from the set so far but it worked great. Was able to help me not lose any of the keepers thanks to the magnetic tip.

So quick and simple. Made rebuilding my northstar heads(32v) a breeze.
