I do recommend this I actually got the wrong size but then ended up buying the right size I highly recommend it since it it a high quality and don't fell cheap like other brands

I use this item to make homemade pool sand filters. The plug is Inexpensive but very durable in projects. It is also threaded inside and outside which is a plus for my needs.

We had just put up 3 wheelchair accessible gardens in McKinley park in Fraser, Michigan and needed drains for them to be sandwiched in-between the moisture barrier and the plywood.These fit perfect and even though we are not using the inside thread, you can thread a guided drain if needed. For our purpose as long as it drains toward the back so it does not drip on the user, we are good as is.The gasket is great but since we have the vapor barrier it has a double seal.We have had very hard rains and the underside has stayed completely dry so we are good to go. The last touch will be some type of screen to keep the dirt from migrating out and we will be in business.The only downside was two of them had burrs in the threads that I had to use my knife to clean up so the nut would start back on. I'm in the plastics industry so I understand this can happen on older mold tools. A little maintenance and they will be good agian.Very happy with them.

Easy install, no leak washer is included. Do not over tighten as the rubber washer will deform. I made that mistake before and to resolve, I placed the washer in boiling water for one minute. After cooling the washer was like new.

Using to run overflow tube to another rain catchment barrel. Don't need a particularly tight seal but looks like it would do the job if needed.

So far so good. Not a single drop of water on a slightly curved surface. I used this to cover a preexisting hole at 53mm. I had to position the piece just right but it is working wonderfully.

Ordered 2 bulkheads noticed on one it had a line on the gasket pulled it alittle to make sure it was solid seemed so installed it. Filled up the overflow and it leaked took it apart and the gasket split right in half on the seam

We had ordered several fittings and finally found this one to fit exactly where we needed it. haven't installed it in the aquarium yet but don't anticipate any issues and it is better than the nickel plated ones we used before, since the plating goes away with time and any metal is bad for the tank. perfect for the 1- 3/4 in holes we have for the fittings

Had no problems installing. Price was cheap so unsure what the quality would be like. I can easily say it is worth the money spent. I purchased pvc pipe fittings from local hardware stores and kept having dripping. This bulkhead replaced the pvc fittings and installed in under 5 minutes. I tightened this bulkhead underneath my grow-bed as you see in the photo. I am happy with this purchase. Just wish I bought this before wasting money on other pvc fittings.
