I love this chip and dip dish...it's beautifully etched with Holly leaves and is a substantial weight. The bowl is not attached to the plate and it's not too big, not too small. So pretty and festive!

This big, beautiful, shining, silvery, non-tarnishing aluminum Lenox Holiday Metal Pinecone Holly Serving Bowl arrived quickly, well packaged and in the giftable collector box (price-tag on it three times what I paid!). I would rather it was USA-made like most of my Lenox items/sets - it's actually made in Mexico as stated on the box - but it looks top notch nonetheless, so I'm very happy I tried this line. If they bring candlesticks, I'm buying! Pretty Please, Lenox!This looks a lot like pricier aluminum bowls/trays/pitchers I've gotten over many years from another USA company (no longer made in the USA) - but this is more refined and the quality looks quite a bit better than especially the last few other-brand items I brought home recently.I've already put this in our Dining Room as a centerpiece on the table to get in the mood for the Holiday/Christmas Season. Why ever not? It's definitely a pretty pick-me-up. I'm fairly certain it will be treasured in the years to come. I'm so glad I stumbled on to this Lenox line of non-tarnishing silver look Aluminum.Update:I came back for the coordinating platter and it is as lovely as I hoped. It is surprisingly heavier than my other aluminum platters and serving trays of a similar size. It seems thicker. No complaints.This platter now sits under the matching serving bowl in the Dining room. I'm very happy I sent for it. Happy Merry Early Christmas!

The Lenox Holiday Metal Wood Cheeseboard matches the motif of the Lenox Red Green Christmas plates, although it does not have those colors on it.This cheeseboard is two pieces. The outer ring is a metal that is not identified on the product page or box, but seems to be some kind of aluminum alloy. It can hold crackers and such. Since it can only be handwashed, I wouldn't serve anything that could get into the nooks and crannies on it.The inner piece is a small piece of wood, stained but unfinished. Personally, I like a smoother piece of wood for serving cheese. It is not very large at all, despite the overall size of the piece. This piece can also only be handwashed. It should also be regularly treated with oil to keep it from cracking.I think this piece is lovely from a distance, but up close it is pretty obvious that it is two pieces. There is a decent clearance to ensure the inner piece doesn't get stuck. I think an oval shape might have been better, to provide more surface area for cheese and jams. This cheeseboard is more for looks than function.
