I needed a short hose to extend my sump pump in my crawl space to the outside wall to join to a 50 foot hose.I'm in New England and the last 3 winters have been challenging. Below freezing to above freezing causing major water issues in my crawlspace. I needed a heavy duty very pliable hose that could handle cold weather. Thus far this hose has been exceptional. I needed a 5 foot hose that attaches to my sump pump and runs to the outside wall of my crawlspace to attach to my 50 foot hose. This allows me to just attach my long hose without having to keep gong into my crawlspace. With the extreme temperature swings I have to take my longer hose into the house when the temps drop to avoid freezing. Now that I have this hose it's so much easier to just do that from the outside where I have this hose attached with several pipe clamps.Impressions: Very sturdy. Well made. Stays very pliable. I have had no leaks on both connections. The price is very good as compared to other hoses.I just bought a second as a backup. I don't think I will need it but I want to be on the safe side. If I flood I can lose my well pump. No regrets thus far. Durability: Time will tell. Regards.
