Works very well in all types of grass. Little on the pricey side but gets the job done.

This thing is built like a tank, but not too heavy. Works perfectly! Will definitely outlast me! After I'm gone it will be something my kids will have to (1.) Wonder what the heck it is, and 2. What to do with it....!

I was skeptical, but after using this think on a half dozen overgrown sprinkler heads I'm a fan. 10X better than a string trimmer. It's all metal so should last for years.

I Used it to remove overgrown sod around my Hunter sprinkler heads. I had over 100 heads and it work flawlessly. It is very heavy duty should outlast me. My ground his quite rocky and he still worked well. After removing the sod it also makes it easy to use a sprinkler head wrench to adjust the head without having shovel about the head, limiting the mess.

Great product. If you are looking at this item, you need it. I was using an old drywall saw. This is quite an upgrade.

Wife thought I wa nuts for getting this as gift but when she saw how easily I cut around all of our sprinklers she got it. Sooo much better than cutting with hand shovel on hands and knees. Very sturdy - like something my Grandpa would have welded up.

This is a fantastic invention and investment. Last year, I spent hours uncovering sprinklers using a small hand shovel and shears. But today, I spent 10 minutes for that same job. This tool enables you to quickly and effortlessly uncover sprinklers that are being overgrown by grass. What I also like about this tool is that the blades are on both sides of the teeth so you can turn it clockwise or counterclockwise to remove grass. This tool is also heavy duty and feels like its commercial quality. Wish I had discovered this years ago.

Excellent design and incredible sturdy. Easily solved sticking heads. Hardest part of job is finding them when they are covered or sticking. Cleans around in no time once located.

Very sturdy and easy to use! I am petite (5'0' weight of 115) but I do not have any issues using this tool. All I have to do is center the post over the middle of the sprinkler head, press down with my feet using my body weight to sink the tool until the bar at the top of the circle is touching the ground, and then rotate the handle clockwise to remove the grass and dirt/clay that surrounds the sprinkler head. It is easy to remove that grass and soil by pushing it from the top down through the bottom. I can then place what I remove in any bare spots in my yard or place it in my compost bin. This tool is made well and very sturdy so it will last for years to come.
