I purchased this to be able to remove the turf around my sprinkler heads so that they can actually work. Turf tends to cover sprinkler heads over the course of a year or two making it necessary to clear it away and rescue your sprinkler heads. This tool works like a champ. I measured the diameter of my sprinkler heads and ordered the correct size since this company makes multiple sizes of these Sprinkler Head Trimmer tools. As a result of seeing me use this tool, several of my friends have ordered one for their own lawns. (Yeah, I offered to loan mine, but they wanted their own Sprinkler Head Trimmer.)

Perfect for clearing the holes around popup sprinkler heads on my lawn. To avoid going too far down, I rotate the tool just near the top of the sprinkler heads, which are below the surface..

My sprinkler heads were completely overgrown with grass. This tool clears the sprinkler heads in less than 30-seconds. A little pricy but exceptionally well built. It should last forever!

After the first time you use it, you'll see how great this works. You will only need to buy this tool once. Trims great. I was like Thurston Howell III using grass trimmers until I saw a pro use this. Make sure you're lined up correctly. Leaves a clean professional look. Found it for less somewhere else, but needed it quick, otherwise the value rating would have been higher. Excellent vendor.

The tool works great and the small flat pegs allows you to step on it to sink deep. It clears the grass and dirt quickly from around the pop up. You do need to be careful while twisting so you don't modify the spray coverage of your sprinkler heads, which I didn't realize until the end of clearing my sprinkler heads. I dropped it one star bc of the hefty price, which I believe is high.

Good quality and does the job. My only complaint is that even though the diameter is great to not leave a huge circle of no grass around the sprinkler head, I have to be careful not to damage the sprinklers since I feel like the ends hit something when I dig deeper and rotate! Waiting for a dry day so I run the sprinkler system and see if I have broken something.The quality is definitely there. Very sturdy and the ends are sharp to dig in and cut the roots with little to no effort!I recommend not digging too deep to avoid damaging your system!Aside from all that, in my opinion, it is overpriced. But hey, I love my lawn.

The item is build like a tank and sharp! Works well to clear away grass that over grows your sprinkler heads. We have Toro and Rainbird 1800 heads throughout the yard and in my opinion better than the hole saw version you attach to your drill.
