The Original Smoker's Ceasefire® Outdoor Ashtray in Forest Green (model 26800G) is a fantastic way of keeping your entrances clear of cigarette litter. With both style and function, it’s a perfect accompaniment to your establishment, collecting cigarette butts safely and reducing the risk of fire.
The ashtray measures 38.5 in (978 mm) in height and 16.5 in (419 mm) in outer diameter. It features an internal drip lid preventing tar condensation from escaping the galvanized steel pail to keep the exterior clean, which is especially useful in environments with high humidity.
Made of a flame-retardant polyethylene so there's no risk of rusting, denting or cracking, the ashtray features a galvanized steel bucket that can hold up to 4 gal (15 l) of cigarette litter to keep your areas clear. Its large head is small enough to discourage other litter thrown in and prevent rain from collecting in the bucket, while also offering a large radius for smokers to throw away their cigarettes. To reduce fire risk, it dissipates heat from the cigarette butts. Its long neck cavity helps minimize clogging.
Maintenance is simple for model 26800G. To open, unscrew the back knob of the ashtray to lift the lid and empty the bucket into the trash. Optional accessories include handy disposable bucket liners made of aluminum/poly (model 26827), which can be easily twist-tied and thrown away once full.
For extra security with your outdoor ashtray, an Anchoring Cable Kit with Padlock (model 268505) is also available. Simply attach the 36 in (914 mm) wire rope around a railing or fence, then attach the cable end and padlock to a tie-down notch at the base.

Quality heavy duty product with large capacity. Easy to unscrew fastener knob and put back together. Extremely thick, sturdy construction for the plastic, and the metal internal bucket. Was surprised how big this was, but I'm really glad I got the bigger size as the bucket takes awhile to fill up generally. Highly recommend and definitely worth the price. We got this for our air bnb as we do not allow smoking inside, but wanted to create a nice area outside for our guests in the garden. They really appreciate it, the few smokers who stay.

Ever since I bought this cigarette butt receptacle for backyard gatherings, I find a lot less cigarette butts on the ground. It's amazing how smokers will just toss their butts anywhere if there is not an ashtray or trashcan nearby. It comes already assembled, inside of it there is a metal bucket, which makes clean up easier, just pull the bucket out to dump instead of tipping over the whole receptacle. Don't forget to put a little sand in the bucket, when it's empty strong winds can move it around some, and it will help with putting the butts out faster.

This product has been around for forever with just about every business having one outside there doors. When I scrolled through the reviews I found the very first one is about a guy complaining about how it caught on fire and this product is junk. I myself have seen these catch on fire a few times. When I say catch on fire I mean it starts smoking pretty bad. What usually happens is someone will use it as a trash can and shove a napkin or some candy wrappers inside then the next person throwing his cigarettes' inside won't flick the cherry and before you know it you got a fire. Just stay calm, pour some water in it, empty it and you're good to go. You need some common sense to use this properly.
