Does a nice job cleaning the domes, filters and microphones. Since purchasing this item, I do not have to replace the filters as often. The unit seems to be well-made.

On my audiologists recommendation I got this vacuum, which is the consumer version of hers.I have been having trouble with one of my hearing aids sounding muffled. This allows me to vacuum the microphones and wax guards. Works great. I use it every other day. Muffled sounds are gone and hearing aids are clean. Highly recommended. Worth spending the money so your expensive hearing aids can work well.

Cleaning a hearing instrument means fighting moisture, removing obstructions , and keeping the molds clean. This is a constant battle. Jodi Vac Consumer is helping !

Before I had this and my Dicfeos 30X 40X Magnifying Glass, I was not able to effectively keep my hearing aids as clean as they should be. With the magnifying glass I can now see minute bits of wax. Then I quickly remove them with this vacuum cleaner well before they become a problem. So glad I made this purchase.

My husbands hearing aids would get dirty so they wowork correctly. This vacuum has helped clean them even when we couldn't see anything They now work much better. We just have to use it about every 2 days. It is very easy to iset. Our Audiologist recommends it to us

I've always had problems with earwax protectors on my hearing aids. They itch and won't stay in my ears. I've tried the small ones with the same problems. Now I have thrown out the earwax protectors and just use this device to clean the part that goes in the ears. No more itching and they stay in place. Most of the time I don't even realize I have them on.

Very efficient tool. Could use more variety in needles by default, but new needle can be found easily. Replacement filters are harder to come by depending where you live.

I use this now to vacuum the microphone ends of my Eargo hearing aids, The needle that comes with the unit is slightly too large to penetrate the access ports, but that's good. You shouldn't go poking around in there. On the other hand, the ports are so small and almost invisible (black plastic unit) that it is near impossible to aim the thing. I've had better luck without the needle, using the softer built-in end of the tube. It covers one access hole at a time and the suction seems adequate. One recommendation ... a softer, more pliable tip that might conform and seal itself to the shape or profile of any number of different brands of hearing aid. Those likely would out perform rigid needles which bend or break easily. Customer service was very helpful. Glad I made the purchase!

This vacuum keeps my hearing aids free of ear wax, and I've got plenty of that. I was spending $20 every other week for professional cleaning, That was months ago, and I haven't spent a penny since.

I tried using one of the sleek-looking battery operated models, but found them inadequate to really clean. While this model is more expensive, it is worth the extra cost.
