Product Description
Our 4/0 Galvanized chain is made to resist rust . This chain meets all ASTM requirements. This chain is great for any playground. The chain is 4/0 Aught and Grade 30. The links are 1 2/5" long and the opening is ½" wide. Any of our S-hooks or Shackles will work with this chain. Chain that is not bought from a playground manufacturer does not have the quality control and have been known to have weak links and can contain air bubbles. This product should last 2 years in harsh conditions and up to 5 years in optimal conditions. Some conditions may require replacement sooner. Tensile 3200 lbs. Sold per foot or by the pail of 250'.
This is for children 0 - 12 years old only. Adults should supervise children at all times. Do not allow children to use unsafely. Do not allow it to be used if damaged.

Installation: Our parts are sold as either replacement parts or components of a set, unless you are buying our Metal Frame Set, therefore these parts need to be installed according to the sets installation instructions.
Chain should always be attached using the last link in length of chain. Assembly will depend upon use. Use an S-hook or Shackle to attach chain to swing seat and/or swing hanger. Close according to Fig. A1.19 for Fastening Devices.
Maintenance: At beginning and end of each play season and once a month during play season, check for rusty or worn chain. Carefully check hole around fastener to look for wear. Check for vandalism. Replace parts if necessary. Check to make sure S-hooks and/or H-shackles are closed properly. Maintain detailed inspection and maintenance records for public-use playground equipment.
Any damage from vandalism, abuse or misuse VOIDS all warranties.
