One of the lids doesn't really snap closed without a struggle. If there were any residual powder or stuff in/on the lid (like after sprinkling your herbs into the food) it might not close properly.

Its very cute and I would have loved it except that it doesnt fit. It wont allow you to completely close the lid. I was able to somehow force close the white one but black one wont even come close. I tried multiple rings on it but its not working.

We grow our own peppers, then create powders and spice mixes from them. We were looking for a container to keep these powders dry but also ready to serve from anytime we want. I have tons of Ball jars since I can as well. We found these and they've served that purpose. I put the powders in Ball jars with their regular lids. Once we are ready to use it, we trade the lid for one of these. I feel the amount of moisture let in is minimal. They've worked well for us this past year.

Redoing our spice cabinet into spice shelves, and I'm using mason jars for some mid to large dry goods, in particular bulk spices. I got these because there are a few spices, like garlic powder and italian seasoning, that I use often and get in large amounts, that I wanted the ability to quickly pop open and shake out.There aren't a ton of options out there for this purpose, but I came across these and decided to try them out. I'd have liked more options for colors, they've got a bunch color variety but their two packs are all mixed colors, so black and white was the most innocent of the options.The lids themselves feel sturdy, the plastic is decently thick, they have a gasket to help seal with the ring on, and the shaker lids open and shut with a nice snap. You need to pop the cap or angle the lid a bit to get it through a ring, but it fits very snugly afterwards.Overall these are a nice set of lids that should hold up as well or better than any regular spice bottle lid.

Thought this would work for our spices that we make but they seem cheap and not made from strong plastic so we will see how long they'll last.

I like these, but still think they are overpriced. If they came on the jars, I'd be ok with the price, but you have to buys the jars separately.
