I bought this saw to prune the more substantial branches on my fig tree and it worked like a charm (like a hot knife through butter). I have no idea how it will hold up over time, but I choose to believe based on its observable solid construction that it will persevere for some period of time. The price also seemed appropriate for the product delivered. Happy with this purchase!

This saw is an incredible value for the price. It may not cut as quick or be as durable as silky saws, but it cuts plenty fast for me and is plenty durable when folded. I hang it from a 2ft paracord while climbing so it gets banged around a bit and it holds up fine. The saw blade when extended of course doesn't hold up well to being bent, but when used as a saw it does well. I have one that is at least 10 years old with a blade that is missing 4 or 5 inches of the tip of the blade. I have used it that way for the last 9 years as a backup camping or at work and it still cuts just as good as the new one. I've used dozens of other off brand as well as reputable brands and this saw still ranks at the top of my list of hand saws.

strong, light weight, and cuts small branches very easily. Also is very durable, my first one lasted over eight years of use, and this new one appears to be pretty much of the same materials and construction.
