Actually bought this to use as wall decor for my kitchen dining area and it looked really nice. Was a little tricky to hang horizontally: my husband bought bracket/hooks home from work and it worked perfectly (I originally tried using 4 Command strips for picture hanging, but they just wouldn't stick to the oiled wood surface, even after I sanded it slightly. The wood grain is really pretty, the stain was done expertly, and all of the edges are smooth and finished. Really pretty.

It looked nice out of the box. I used it once and did a quick rinse in lukewarm water, no soap. All of the finish washed away and it looks terrible now. Like it was made in a high school shop class 15yrs ago and all dried out and got discolored.

This was my second purchase of this item. The first arrived with the top piece you cut on broken. I super-glued it and used it for several months until I dropped it while rinsing off. I liked it so much that I bought another to replace it. The bottom of the new one was warped so badly that the top grate did not fit without wobbling all over the place. I took the top of this one to replace the top of the first one and I now have a set that works great. Only took me combining two sets to get one that works great. The material is ironwood and made of several small strips glued together. The glue joints are what failed on my first one. No idea why the second one would be warped prior to arrival.

This review is about the Ironwood Baguette Miter. This is a large, very sturdy piece of wood. In fact, storage requirements should be considered. But, whether by design or accident, it is somewhat canoe shaped and rocks from the middle. Enough that I'll be using a sander to try and flatten it. Cutting at either end currently results in the 'boat' rocking up on the other end. Don't know if this is common.Still, very well made and finished except for the curvature. Actually useful as well as ornamental.

Beautiful wood and stain. Wobbled a little at first, but seems to have acclimated now. Super pretty on the counter or on the table. Looooove it and would purchase for anyone who loves to make or serve rustic bread.

The cutting board is aesthetically appealing but way too small and the nesting doesn’t fit snugly. I think crumbs would make it off the board even if cutting a small roll. The nesting board rocks back and forth when cutting which feels unstable.

It looks good in the kitchen. Mine arrived with the handle broken off (it had just been glued in place). I merely glued it back on with better glue. Unfortunately, the fat non-bagels that pass for bagels today won't fit into them. If you have a source for traditional sized bagels, this will work fine.

After breaking countless challah boards we decided to try something new, a new style with no glass on it. This is a great alternative and a great crumb catcher - much less mess on the Shabbos table. It's not super heavy weight but it's good and we are happy with our purchase
