Nice but doesn't hold up. I've had mine for 4 months. Use it about once a week. Hand wash and wipe with butcher block oil once or twice a month. Its cracked/splitting. It probably won't last a year at the rate it's going. If you only play on using it a couple times a year it might work for you but definitely not for regular use.

Purchased for the purpose of making a new end table. It turned out fabulous! I wanted to keep the wood still food-safe and fully functional as a cutting board, so as with all wood cutting boards/blocks, I use butcher block oil. I will say that this was THIRSTY! It took 6-7 coats of oil, but now should be easy to maintain from here. The rest of the project: 8 1/234; flanges 8 1234; long 1/234; black steel pipe 1 1/234; black steel cross fitting 4 1/234; black steel T fittings 4 634; long 1/234; black steel pipe

I bought this for a new home, and had it less than 5 months. Now it is breaking among the glued wood panels for no apparent reason. It looks nice but for how little we have used it I would not recommend it at all. It does not hold up, we use this board very rarely, to preserve it, and hardly rinse it at all, so I don't understand how this could have happened.

It's really nice. Looks good. I wish it was a little wider. Worth getting it.

This cutting board is as beautiful as it looks online. I was worried about the size as it wasn’t listed in the description (if it was I didn’t see it), but at 18” x 10” it’s a good size - not huge, but not too small. I’ll be mounting a stainless steel magazine holder onto a cabinet box above my limited space countertop so I’ll be able to display this cutting board as artwork when not in use, while keeping the countertops clear of clutter.

Just got it. Nice and smooth, I like the color, and checked that it was true to size. I’ll have to use it for a while and see how it works out but so far really great look & feel. Got the 12 x 18 x 1.5 inch, the smallest size for this type.

Took pictures since I couldn’t find any reviews with pictures for this board. The color is slightly warmer in person than it shows in the photos. Put my arm in there so you could see roughly how big the handles are

I thought the sticker looked like it would be a pain to get off— but surprisingly it came off very easily & cleanly. I added a photo of how it was peeling off if anyone else likes taking it off & also the “wood care” details on it if anyone wanted to read.

Beautiful and holds up well. However we do regularly deodorize and oil the board.

Looks beautiful when oiled. Arrived on time and it's exactly what I'd hoped for. Hopefully I'll get many years use out of it.

This Ironwood Gourmet Chef's Board made from Acacia wood is simply great. I like the solid square shape and the design of the wood pieces combined to make up the board. It is really sturdy and works very well. It looks so good that it can be left out on the counter! It is fairly easy to clean up and knifes have barely scratched the surface of it so far. I think it's great!

As others have mentioned, this board is just, it's small, and the knife slot only reduces the usable surface area.

Further, the knife slot, while good in concept, is incredible narrow and now as functional as I would have liked.

And yet further, the wood on the one I received was incredibly grainy, to the point that when you scrubbed it, tiny particles of wood flaked off. My girlfriend and I decided not to use it, because we couldn't be sure flecks of wood wouldn't get into the cheese. All-in-all, you could easily get a normal, much larger cutting board for the same price.

I love the way it looks, but despite my efforts to take very good care of it, it warped slightly pretty much immediately, so it spins and slides around all over the place when I try to cut on it.

The wood is beautiful, and I like the knife slot. A great cheese board or for taking care of little kitchen slicing chores. Best plan - get some good oil made for cutting boards and use it to make the board look better and last longer. We just keep it out on the counter, since it looks so nice.

Very nice little cutting board -- great for fruit and veggie snacks or cutting up cheese. I don't use the knife holder, but I love that this is small enough to be on the counter without being intrusive.

This is a beautiful cutting board that makes a very nice serving tray for a small cheese serving. I've subtracted a star due to a slightly rough surface especially on the bottom of the cutting board. In my opinion it could've used a final fine grain sanding to have the surface finish match the beauty of the color and grain of the wood.

About the useable area: Excluding the channel the cutting area is 8 3/4" x 7".

The channel is a nice detail and works with my cheap-o cheese knife, though I would have been perfectly fine without it being there and gaining the extra inch of cutting surface.
