Simple to fasten, with an English girth. Fits different size horses comfortably. Allows stirrup-less riding without the discomfort that sometimes arises when riding bareback. Also keeps your pants from becoming coated with horsehair. There is a grab strap so riders can steady themselves without denuding the horse's mane. Seems sturdy. My only complaint is that some of the billet holes are a bit too small on one side of the bareback pad.

Perfect for grip, comfort, and added padding for your horse. These are durable and will last you for years. I have a horse who is very round around the barrel, and this pad doesn't slip. Girth is very adjustable and should fit most breeds and body types. Made me a more confident bareback rider!

I bought the horse/adult size and it fits my 13.2hh 760lb pony mare wonderfully. There's plenty of room to adjust bigger or smaller so I think this would fit a wide variety of horses. I was worried the adult would be too big since my mare is a pony and I'm a small adult, but it fits her fine. This pad is super comfy to ride on and seems to be really good quality. I can't attest to the durability since I just got it but I'm very happy with it. It's beautiful, doesn't slip, and is convenient to just throw on real quick.

I bought this saddle pad for my grandchildren to ride on and it is perfect! No-slip, very comfortable, quality materials, and has a handle for them for balance, just in case. I am buying another one for me, but full size because I have a big horse too! This is a wonderful saddle just to throw on the pony or horse for a quick ride. Definitely recommend this saddle.

Would recommend this to anyone that's wanting to get a quick ride or to work on your seat and balance. I got the Hunter Green color in “horse” size for my work horse Sparky. Very satisfied with the quality of the pad. It keeps me clean and also comfortable. The cinch can be removed but it's actually not bad. It can also fit a draft horse. It fit our Gypsy Vanner and Belgian. Sparky and I are closer bonded thanks to Best Friend Bareback Pad!

Overall, if you are thinking of getting this bareback pad please do!! It fits a wide range of horses and doesn't slip on any horses I've tried it on, it makes riding bareback comfortable and now I'd rather ride with this bareback pad then a saddle. Highly highly recommend if you are looking for something with good quality and comfort!

My 12 year old daughter loves riding bareback. This gives her enough comfort and stick to canter all day long. Doesnt slip and easy to clean. Love it.

I just got this bareback pad and I love it! It is very comfortable and it really doesn't slip! I took my mare up and down hills on trails today and was pleasantly surprised at how well it stayed in place! Definitely a keeper!
