I mean it's a skeleton key. What you see is what you get. Don't know what else I can say. No cons. If you're looking for a skeleton key, this is a great option

I was hoping it would work but they didn't. At least they didn't cost too much but they are a cheap feeling.

I bought these keys for my collection, very nice! I got a compliment about my keys, they look very old fashioned. I put them on my key ring. I know that they will last me a very long time!

I have mortise locks in all my doors that are almost 100 years old. They work great and my guest rooms can have the assurance of a little extra privacy.

These keys were exactly what I needed. My house is in New England, built in 1920. I love the 2-pack since one key worked on some of the doors while the second key worked on all the others. While these are not the same weight and material as the originals, they serve their purpose; especially for the price of $5. They are metal and are sturdy and durable enough if you use them for what they were designed for. They are not intended to apply brute force to a stuck mechanism. If you do that, or if you force a key that isn't designed for your mechanism, it will break. If your lock is stuck, take it apart and lube it. If the lock doesn't turn, try the other key or rotate in the opposite direction. If you want heavier copies, you can source them elsewhere or find antique originals once you know the key design that works. This set is the perfect way to figure that all out.
