Unit work's as described, paid to much. Use pieces with dgmm as pickup works pretty good with mini scope as a cop adapter pick up.

I like it I seems to work well. Has two lights to indicate what's going on the green seems to flash when the spark plugs firing. Now I can at least see if the coils are good without having to tear everything apart. 12/5/17 Today I check a 1987 F-150. help me determine that the coil wasn't firing and diagnosed that the module had gone bad.

Works, but only picks up steady miss. Coil or plug Miss-fire, under load is not possible to find with this tool.

This worked fine for me but does take some getting used to. Could use a jack for earbuds as I found it hard to hear the signal over the engine running. Seemed to worked best at identifyING a wear or no spark COP.

I've been having problem with a Ford V10 in and Excursion and had so far been able to determine what the problem(s) were. This allowed me to test all the coil-on-plug units with out having to try and pull them all (which isn't easy for a couple of them). While I had previously had 2 of them go bad, this tool allowed me to see that this time they were all firing correctly so I knew the problem was fuel delivery at that point and was able to find one injector that had a bad connecter plug and another one that had just completely died. The truck now runs great again. I have several other cars with COP and I'm sure I'll use the tool many more times.
