Sauna does not work well for taller people - my son and I (at 5' 10") could not sit properly inside it with the provided seat. And, I did not want to try and find another seat that would work for us without being damaged by the heat.

The picture shown must be somebody less than 5' 5" tall!

So, I had to return it!

I like the sauna usually sit in there an hour to get a full drench. would have went five stars but the bench and head height is just a little uncomfortable. But good for the price.

I cannot understand how anybody could have given this unit a four or five-star review. The heating is very inconsistent. In fact it only Heats your back and your shoulders. I discovered this the first time I got in the unit.

The second time I got in the unit I could cut the mometer with me. I follow directions and preheated the unit to 150 degrees theoretically for 5 minutes before I got in. I then set in the unit for 15 minutes with it set to 150 degrees. Then I measured the temperatures in various positions with my thermometer. The temperature at my feet was 110 degrees the temperature in my lap was 115 degrees the temperature at my chest was 118 degrees. It wasn't until I started measuring temperatures at my back that the temperatures got higher. The temperature at my back was 138 degrees the temperature at my lower back was 124 degrees. Now I know that this is supposed to be an infrared unit and all of the heating that occurs doesn't occur just from the heat inside the unit but physically the only part of my body that got warm or hot was my back my chest did not my legs did not. This is a very disappointing unit and my suggestion is that you not buy it unless the only reason you want it is to heat your back and shoulders. I am returning the unit.

I have used this sauna since January, 2018. I use it 3-4 times a week, for 30 minutes. I am using it to detox from CIRS. I sweat in it every time! It works as it should, sets up and folds back down in under 5 min. and stores easily in my closet (that is not a walk in closet). I would highly recommend it. It is working exactly as I thought it would. It doesn't have any off-gassing smell at all, even from day one.

Heats fast but only goes to 150. HOPE it's not a cheaper version.

UTTER TOTAL GARBAGE! Ive owned 3 other sauna from other companies and they were great...this one takes about an hour to get hot enough to get even a remote chance of sweating... huge disappointment...dont believe the other comments about how to make it work better...its garbage and even if you do those things the effect is minimal

ive had 3 other FIR saunas from other companies and they all worked great... this one has side panels that are barely warm let along hot and are definitely NOT INFRA RED ... at best theres one panel in the back and it barely does anything (the seat blocks most of its effects as well)

so dont listen to the other reviewers they are full of it.... try another brand not this one..i wish i didnt now im out $200!!!!

I've been using this sauna for over a year now and love it. I truly feel I am getting a good de-tox. I am dealing with cancer and arthritis and it is helping in both areas. For the last month or so I have been using it every day. It is definitely worth the price.

Update: I have used this sauna for about 15 months, daily, and this week the side panel went out, so the unit no longer heats enough to provide any benefits. I figure for the amount of use I got of it, it is worth it buy another.

I'm not sure what this company considers low EMF, but this thing is sky high behind your back with over 50 milligauss which is crazy high. It drops a bit as you move closer to the front, but too high for me. Swedish safety standard is 3mg, and the poorest American safety standard is 40mg. Still above that, sending it back.

Works great, and does not take up much time. You cant beat the price, I was paying 30 buck a pop for each 30min session. This is better to me because my head is out, no wet hair.

I highly recommend this product because it is convenient and it does not take up a lot of space.

I realized and recommend to preheat the unit before going in it because it takes a few minutes to feel the heat.

So people have suggested to wear a sauna suit while you are in the unit. I do not recommend this because it is plastic and your pores are opening to the chemicals in the suit.

After staying in the unit for 45 minutes, I felt the sweat dripping from my face as well as my legs and arms. Also, I wore a scraf on my head to keep in the heat.

Overall, I felt my muscle relaxing as well as the aches I had on my hip and lower back.

My wife and I both use this at least once a month. I love it, but she always insists on going before me. My question is, how do I get the strong lingering fart odor out of the fabric. I don't have the heart to tell her, but when she busts that thing open, I can't be in the same room as her for a least a few hours. She usually has headphones on, but I can still hear whats happening. I am considering purchasing my own because I think the interior fabric might have a permanent fart residue on it.

So - not much of a sauna person, prior to getting this, but with fibromyalgia, muscle spasms, high stress- I was looking for something to help relax body and mind. We don’t have any space to waste, so the easy set up/break down/store was super important. What I like most is you have super easy temperature and timer control through the hand slots, zippers open well for quick escape if you need to get out due to screaming children, maniac pets or call, ha ha! You can use the chair, or as one user said, hey sit on the floor, I use a towel. Don’t forget to push “start,” I confess 1st time I thought the remote lights meant on. You can listen to music, meditate, relax, soothe muscles and brain. Start lower to get the feel then add. Don’t close off the head part- and open the zipper a touch so you get oxygen not just exhaled air. Only reason I gave it a 4 is because I’m not sure what the level/how harmful the EFM is.

I think this would be helpful especially for hypothyroid, Hashimotos who have a hard time keeping body temp regulated, maybe arthritis, joint or muscle disorder types who live in cold areas and need to warm up for pain. I would keep out of reach of children, and anyone mentally altered who could overheat and dehydrate.

I love this sauna! I'm 5'1" and 115 lbs, so I found the chair to be plenty big, but my boyfriend who is 6' and 190 lbs definitely thought it was too small. I find that it gets quite hot. I usually start it at 150 to warm it up, and then after 15 min or so, I turn it down to 140 bc it really does get hot. I don't know if it's gonna solve all of my problems, but it definitely feels awesome and makes me sweat.
