Works great on solid rivets! I bought this to help me replace dozens of leaking solid rivets on an aluminum boat. Used with an air chisel this bit made the replacement so easy, literally took 5 seconds per rivet and can be done with one person (long as you can reach both sides). This will save you hours and they come out perfect.

Works well, very hard head. Great for extended reach situations. The bit fits perfectly in 0.401 impact guns, however, the coating on the shank, on the outside of the gun fits very tight on the retaining spring of the gun. This is a minor problem that goes away once the bit us used a couple of times.
