The one that I recieved had a weak magnet. But it was enough to hold a nut/bolt/screw in place if you were really careful. I've used stronger magnetic sockets.<br />In my experience, magnetic tools can vary from one to another. So don't completely count it out.<br />Still a way better price than buying off the tool truck at work.
