This is a great gooseneck extension! I needed it for a function at my church and it worked perfectly! I loved it so much that I bought a second one to take with our church musical group on out-of-house engagements!

Would not hold a noodle up. Gravity will overcome average weight mics with these.

Do not work well. Very weak and limp. Will not hold up a standard Shure sm58 mic.

It's a little flimsy for a mic with any weight on it! I used it as a talk-back mic holder attached to the side of a boom stand for our keyboard player at the church, but it couldn't handle even having a SM58 mic on the end without slumping over at any angle. The only way to use it was to have the goose-neck straight up. Maybe a shorter stand would be better, but I needed the distance to reach the keyboard player. Wish it was a little more rigid to withstand the weight problem...

Cannot bear hardly any weight whatsoever. Can probably hold up some really cheap plastic microphones just fine, but something like an AKG P5 is too much for it. Ridiculous. Feels cheap.

Not very strong at all, this could not hold the wireless mic i was using. keep the mic weight in mind when choosing and if it has any weight at all do not purchase.
