Haven't worn these boots over an entire day but the test runs so far have been very comfortable. Bought these for a renfaire/halloween costume and will update after a full day of wear.

I purchased these for my boyfriend for a Renaissance Festival that we attended. He absolutely loved them and said they were very comfortable. I also thought they looked great on him and really tied his look together. I look that the upper cover is removable so that they can be used much longer than the boots.

I am in a financial pinch and sought out some cheap costume boots. I make chainmaille armor and needed black boots for my black stainless steel armor for the Renaissance festival. These fit the aesthetic I was looking for - medieval-ish with a knight/combat appeal without looking piratey. I wear a size 10US in most cases and have wider feet. The size 10-11 fit me fairly well with a bit of extra room, but that's what you get with stretch size costume boots. The material is fairly thin; it feels like it is durable but I could easily see the outer coating wearing off within 6months to a year with occasional use. The boots didn't look quite like the photo. The distressing seemed a bit too uniform and the spats sit far lower on the toe than I expected. Overall, these will work for what I need until I have the few hundred gather for some custom made leather ones. They are costume boots; that's important to keep in mind. I am size 10 US, 5'1034; tall and 165 pounds with an average build.

These boots exceded my expectations in every way. The actual color of the boots is a bit darker than it appears in the photo, so that was a pleasant surprise. Also I tend to only buy genuine leather products, but after deciding to take a chance on these I not disappointed. They held up perfectly after a long day of walking over dirt, gravel, and tree roots.

Bought as part of a costume for an upcoming theme wedding for my wifes friend. So far these boots are the only part of the experience i dont regret spending money on. -Sole is a little hard but not uncomfortable. -Very good quality for the price, made very well. -May have to put new holes in the buckles if you have a large calf. -I often wear the boot itself to work without the ankle/calf piece(which are a bit pain in the to put on without help if you're not flexible), have gotten quite a few compliments.

Purchased for a Cosplay outfit. They will work great with the look I was trying to get.

Boots look exactly how they are shown and show up very fast with no damage to the package i highly recommend these perfect for rennisance fairs. I do recommend buying inserts for them though but other than that im definitley buying from these guys again!

My only real compliant when it comes to these boots are how tight they are in the toes after you put a comfortable insole in them. I'm a size 14 or 15 (depending on the boot or shoe), and I use these boots for LARPing and Faires, so you kinda have to have extra cushion walking through the woods. I ended up having to cut down my insole to give myself more toe room, and I'm hoping that as I use these monthly, they're break in. They look nice and I've gotten some compliments on them. A few tips: It can be a little tricky buckling up by yourself. Easier with a friend. I find it best to leave the bottom buckle strapped even when removing and just sliding it off the boot.

Very happy with these. Wish they had regular sizes instead of ranges, but they looked great!

I have roughly a 13 wide size foot in normal boots. I got a 12 and I got enough to stuff a pair of socks in there and still have room to wiggle.

I bought these for a friend of mine. He tried them on and seemed pleased but I'll know more when we have our show in August

I love the boots. I wish there was a way to figure out how to put my foot in without getting stuck in the shielding.

We bought these boots as part of a medieval costume, but he uses the boots without the legging part regularly. Very comfortable.

These were exactly what I was looking for. Fit as expected for U.S. Size and weren't too uncomfortable,

Sizes are a bit broad and as such they are a bit big. I bought arch insoles and wore Nike padded socks and they were decent enough. I wore them for about 10 miles of walking the first day I wore them.

These are great for Renaissance or Cosplay. Not real leather and they fit a bit big but nothing dr shols couldn't fix.

I purchased these boots as part of an outfit for the Renaissance Festival. They were comfortable and highly adjustable. Just know that this is actually two pieces - a smaller ankle high boot (with a zipper on the inside) and the boot cover, which buckles around the boot and leg. For costume purposes, this combination is fantastic. The boots endured a full day of walking on dirt and having libations poured on them. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend these boots.
