Got these for a couple of costumes and they work great for them. They hurt my toes after all day, but they are definitely tolerable. Pretty much any boot I have ever worn does that because I have very wide feet. These were definitely a good purchase for me.

After reading many of the reviews on here, I placed my order per the suggestions of others, and ordered a small (I usually wear a 9 1/2 shoe) and these fit perfectly. I also paid close attention to the suggestions of getting gel insoles, as these aren't being worn as just a costume for a weekend Comic Con gathering, but rather a more continuous rehearsal process and production of Fiddler on the Roof, and the extra comfort is paramount in going through the rehearsal process. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the boot, and the zipper seems to be of very good quality too. Bear in mind that These boots do get hot, and don't breathe well, so a good airing out after each use is essential. I ordered the brown, and... I do wish the color was more brown or tan and less like a caramel mocha. Had I known, I might have gone with the black. It's the only reason I gave them a 4 star rating. Overall, a very good boot...at an excellent price.

Good fit, slightly on the bigger size. Might have considered moving down one side but with a thicker pair of socks it's fine. Very comfortable and easy to put on and remove. Good quality and feel at a decent price. I only wish they were a few more inches higher up towards the knee but these still work great for my cosplay.

very comfy and use them for my Darth Vader, and TIE Fighter pilot boots, both in cosplay and mannequin use. have held up very well on many troops with the 501st legion

Got the boots for cosplay, took longer than expected to get here after issue with the mail system, lucky a quick message to these guys fix the issue and the boot got here after 3 days. Very Happy with the purchase

I used the boots as cosplay for my 501st Pilot cosplay and other cosplays I am on my feet a lot and walking. The boots were size 11, I wear size 10 shoes, but I have big calf muscles and the boots fit and zipped with pants tucked in.

Standard black boot for a costume. Was fairly uncomfortable by middle of the party. I'm glad I didn't take the kids trick or treating in these. A bit overpriced, but not many options to choose from. They worked. I'll use them again since I own them now.

I am size 12. The large size is like 13 or 14. Had to wear 2 pairs of socks so they weren't loose. To prevent blistersWould recommend if you have thickvk calfs

Ordered the (12-13) to be on the safe side, usually wear an 11.5 US and it's big on me. The height goes to just below my knee. It fit around my calf just fine. Could easily wear multiple layers with them. Happy with them so far
