Gertrude Aldridge as a pop vinyl isn't as colourful as her character (in ghost form) in the Ghostbusters 2016 remake movie, in fact she's pretty much just different shades of grey with white eyes replacing the black eyes norm of pop vinyls. She still looks really cool though, and really angry! In the movie she is of course first encountered in the Aldridge Mansion Museum. The place she has haunted since she was locked in the mansions basement and fed through a slot in the door, after she killed all the mansion's servants, and her rich family didn't want that embarrassing sort of thing getting out. Erin is called in after a tour guide encounters her in ghost form. When Erin meets her she of course vomits ectoplasm over her and flies off through the wall. She also appears near the end of the movie, with the electrocuted ghost. In the movie she's blue bright light wearing a white and red striped dress which is also lit up. It would be pretty hard to paint that I would guess, without her looking like a smurf. So Gertrude more resembles your traditional movie ghost in colour, including torn up dress. She does seriously look cool though. Since she doesn't have any legs and her dress forms a flat surface at the bottom, she stands up no problems at all. She definitely doesn't need a stand or anything. Like all pop vinyls her limbs don't move or anything, but you can rotate her neck 360 degrees. If you've got her in exorcist pose, the weight of her head with her back as her front is too heavy for her to stay upright long. But any other angle pose of the head, and you've got to give her a serious bump to knock her over. Even if you don't like the Ghostbusters remake, she is a pretty cool looking undead looking pop vinyl. She could pass for a vampire with her sharp teeth which include fangs, or a zombie. Now if they'd only make the original movie library ghost as a pop vinyl. I'd buy that!
