I had to get a bigger backpack after one of my professors decided we should bring our very large textbook to class and it didn't fit in my original backpack. For the price, this thing is sturdy as heck. Definitely a tank. It's very roomy - I am able to fit my sandwich box, a light cardigan, and emergency hygiene bag comfortably with my 3 binder and textbook. There are two water bottle pockets, one on each side. It fits my 24 oz Takeya and I can snap the pocket over the top. It can also hold my 40oz Hydroflask but the pocket will not fit over.It lacks inner pockets which isn't a make or break. It has a pocket on the front and a pocket on the main flap. Both are a good enough size but a little hard to open. The zipper itself isn't difficult to zip but they're hidden and getting under the flap can take a sec. The pocket on the front won't fit my wallet, which is the width of an unfolded USD but the top pocket does hold it comfortably. I will probably keep the things I need easy access to on the top and more occasional items in the front. It's not uncomfortable but it is also built more for function than comfort. I have gotten used to these bougie moisture wicking REI style backpacks but this one is fine for school.

This is not a technical pack. Its a basic rucksack with no frame. I use it for when my wife wants to go on a picnic and Im forced to carry stuff from the car to typically within a mile or so. For that its great. If you are expecting to climb or hike extreme distances, then you might want to look elsewhere. That being said, its built well and for me works just fine. Just beware the limitations, after all its a budget pack.
