I made certain to order the one and only Perfect-for-me picker upper! I bought this brand and style 5 years ago and it's still going strong! I decided to buy another brand that was less expensive to use in the front of the house (instead of carrying it all over the place) and was so sorry. It quickly became stuck in the open position and I tossed it. I bought another just a bit more cost and the grip became so stiff and hard to squeeze, I gave it to a friend without arthritis! The moral of this story is, You get what you pay for! Learned my lesson...again! I am once more a happy camper!

This was purchased as a gift for a relative, who has lots of pine cones to pick up every fall. He says this is a neat item!Too bad there was no gift option for this item, as it cost my wife more to send it to him than the item itself did through USPS. I knew there was no gift option before ordering, though, so no problem.

Best of the grabbers in my opinion. Not the least expensive, but the best quality Ive found so far. Have broken many of other brands, this one seems to last.The tool you dont think you need, until you do. Use it to pick up things in the yard I would rather not touch!
