Bought several of these for a family car camping trip with the kiddos who just left the house. Basic performance backpack with a large cavity, durable design with extra compartments for storage. The kids were able to store all that was needed for the camping trip.

Like the large capacity and outside pockets for more storage Like the various colors available.

Poor shoulder padding if you weigh your pack more than 35lbs.,Waist pads built with thin cushions - your waist in meant to carry a majority of the pack weight with less stress on your shoulders - so if you plan on putting some weight in this pack and hiking I don't recommend it.

Again this is a good pack for the RIGHT USAGE -

Entry level pack-
Car Camping - you can pack this bag up and march it to your campsite up to 100-200 yards away.
Primitive Camping - not recommended due to the light construction of the should and hip pads.

My experience - former Assistant Scout Master / over a dozen primitive 2-3 days camps / five years of car camping with scouts

This backpack looks an feels to be every bit the quality of the one it is replacing that has been an everyday backpack for me over the last ten years. The material and build is as every bit as strong, if not better. The zippers are big heavy duty metal type, not the skinny plasticy looking type.
It looks like it will be a great pack. I think you could fill it full with groceries (one of the many tasks I used my old backpack for)
I will be ordering a second one to that I will use to build a bug-out bag with,
Here's a pic of my old comrade, and my new comrade, and side by side, so you can see the one I used regularly over the last 10 years, and it's of cheaper quality and build.
I will try and remember to update this review after one year of using this product.
Happy Hiking Everyone!!!!

Terrible sewing quality, it broke as soon as I started using it. DONT BUY IT if you are going to use it for hiking.

I LOVE this bag. I was able to take it on Spirit Airlines as a "personal item"... And it's huge! Great for traveling, can fit a lot in it, works as a carry-on so you don't have to check luggage. Big thumbs up.

So far the the backpack has performed beyond my expectations. I recently took it on a week long trip to Utah and was able to fit a weeks worth of clothes plus a camping pillow and a hammock all in the main area of the backpack with room left to spare. The backpack held up beautifully even though during the entire ride to Utah and backpack was stored on a luggage rack on the roof no tears or any buckles coming undone. The side pockets have plenty of space for a water container and in my case a head light, battery pack earbuds and my cellphone. Overall a great backpack

Solid BoB, tons of storage but not lots of pockets except for the two on each side and one on top. Was able to fit a TON of stuff in this thing, including rations, boil kettles, first aid kit, etc. and still had room for other small necessities. Material seems to be consistent with a bag at this price point, but the sternum and lumbar straps should do a good job of keeping weight off the shoulders.

Good pack. Good price. Lots of room. Comfortable. Not as durable as military grade, but surprisingly pretty tough for the price. No complaints here

Nice but clasps are poor quality and either come undone or get stuck but other than that the bags nice

This backpack does not have an internal frame - just some padding on the back. For the price, this is a huge pack that holds all my gear. The shoulder straps are wide and comfortable. Two side pockets and a pocket on the lid make it easy to access my rain gear and first aid kit. This is great for weekend camping.

Don't ask why, but I was able to carry 2 gallons of paint, 100 feet of 1/2" rope, a paint grate for a 5gal bucket, and two monster energy drinks in this thing for a small hike. Surprisingly, the paint cans could fit side-by-side, so I didn't have to precariously stack them. Other than this, the buckles for the side pockets keep undoing themselves and the zippers for the zippers for the side pockets are a little finnicky and get stuck easily. Also, no matter how I adjust the should straps, the buckle for across your chest ends up on my throat. I feel like choking myself in a hike is not the best idea.
Uodate: every buckle unbuckles itself at some point. It's like they aren't locking well enough
