Had an older CryBaby and the pot got scratchy. Took the old one out, popped this one in (very easy solder job) and it works like new. So easy to replace, and works so well. Why didn't I do this 10 years ago?Hell, I even procrastinated doing this review...

I used this to replace the original potentiometer in my circa 1996 Crybaby way-way pedal. It was a much-needed upgrade with many improvements. The sealed design of the new pot ensures longevity. The smaller footprint makes for an easy install. Mechanically install it and solder three connections - better than new! Recommended.

My wah pedal is an integral part of my playing. This piece restored my JP95 to its original sound. No more scratching! I bought a second one as a spare to have when I need it since I live out in the middle of nowhere. These things are invaluable.

I own a rare Dunlop Wah called BB535. It is the earliest version of the Dunlop 535Q and hasn't been in production since the 90's. The potentiometer was cracking so I need to put a new one in it. This potentiometer works great with the BB535 and no complaints here!

Dropped right in, 10 minutes of soldering, and my 1977 Cry Baby (yes 1977!!) was as good as new! Takes a few tries to fine tune exactly which part of the pot's range the pedal motion will use, but once you have it to your liking, it's perfect. Some people want more high end, some prefer to utilize the bass portion more. Guitarists that complain about scratchy wah pots need to understand that, like tubes and strings, wah pots are consumables that need to be replaced regularly. Not as often as strings, but probably more often than tubes. This is the one to stock up on.

I got a vintage Crybaby in for repairs. It had a super scratchy pot and this was a great replacement. I really like the fully enclosed housing. Means I don't have to do pot replacements as often when I fix these guys.
