I normally get the dried date chunks at about half the price per pound. Today they were out of stock, so I ordered this. I have had this in the past and it works fine for me ... just more expensive than the alternative.

Love these soooo much we have them every day. Its a great snack for my kids and they are sooo tasty!! Also great way to get dates in when pregnant- easy to eat when nauseous

I mix them with nuts and other fruit or add to cereal. They taste good and are consistently of good quality.

Nice big chunks. Tasty. They don't stick or clump together. They are cylindrical, like they have been extruded rather than chopped. But they work just fine for baking or putting in oatmeal.

I consume a lot of chopped dates for cooking and snacking. Many sources provide dates that are too dry or coated with too much flour. Anna and Sarah dates are plump and tasty with just a light coating of oat flour that allows the full date flavor to come through. This is the best brand I've yet found.

So: dates will become a sticky mess in the package if you don't add SOMETHING to keep this from happening. Some companies have taken to flouring these with oat flour, and it works.Now: when a date hits your tongue, you're expecting instant sweet. With these dates, it takes about 2 seconds for the oat flour to melt and the sweet to hit your tongue. I believe in you, you have that much patience. These are great.

I like to add dates to my oatmeal. This makes it easy. The date flavor is not as good as when I dice the dates myself, but it is much quicker and easier. It may be the oat flour changing the flavor a little.

I recently tried these dates after eating the extruded date pieces from Azure Standard for many years. I finally switched because the ones I've eaten for years have got more and more pit and stem pieces in the dates and it got to a point where I was picking 3-5 pieces of pits and stems out of every bite of dates. These ones however I haven't found a single stem or pit in the entire bag! I love these dates!

I lost my resource for chopped dates for my oatmeal date cookies. So, I've invested in a large quantity of dates that I'll properly store in the freezer until needed. This is a great value.

There is much to like: great tasting with minimal small crumbles. Plus the 3 or 5 lb. bags are a great value. I eat them with my oatmeal every morning instead of adding sugar.
