I purchased a size down as suggested.. They fit perfect!! They are the most comfortable Docs I have ever purchased!! Love everything about this boot! Chunky lifted heel, metal loops, nice leather, and that fab cushioned foot bed!!!

Always Loved Doc Martens {teenager in the eighties}....loved the stacked look and the brass eyelet hardware on these ones, perfect.Everyone was telling my friend to go down a size....because they only come in whole sizes sooooo if you are a size 6 1/2 (like me) they told my friend to go down in a size (to a size 6). Nothing was fitting, all too small. What I've done and works great for me is go up in sized...(size 7) and put in wool felt insoles (which are great, antimicrobial, soaks up sweat {summer or winter, and everything in-between}, really nice in winter-but also cool in summer) they fit like a charm, and make they very comfortable. :)

These boots are super cute, and I tried to convince myself to keep them. Ultimately they were just too heavy and uncomfortable on my feet. I felt like I was stomping around when I tried them on. Overall, super cute for some people, but I'm apparently not strong enough to wear them.

Got these on a sale but honestly I would buy these full price. I wear size 8.5 and I read these ran a little big. I order the size 8 and I have so much room. The shoes are heavy but I noticed when I wear regular socks it's a little difficult to walk. However when I wear wool socks they fit more comfortable and the weight of the shoes is unnoticed. Plus I get extra height with them so get them .

These add about an inch to your height. They really make your legs look long and nice. Adds a cute edge to any outfit. Summer, spring, fall, or winter, these boots go with any occasion! Dress up or down with these boots. Docs always are uncomfortable until you break them in, but once you do there is no problem. They are heavy, so you wouldn't want to wear them on a long walk.
