I have Built a 2 way design using this 7" dayton reference woofer paired with a silk done tweeter and the result is fantastic. The dayton has the required excursion to produce some impressive volume. and with a well tuned box you can bring out very good balanced bass.

Wether your replacing existing woofers or a new build, this 7" driver is up to the task! This woofer has a gained alot of popularity in 2-Way and MTM Designs, however the upper end of it's frequency range could be a bit better for the mid range, in my opinion. This woofer is also becoming quite popular in 3-Way designs as it's bass response is quite nice. I used this woofer in a small 3-way design with a ported .62 cu.ft cab to house this woofer and Daytons RS52AN-8 2" mid range dome with a seperate housing on top for a 6" planar. Overall, very nice performance and a nice low end!
