In combination with exclusive tuning by Dayton Audio, the woofer produces low-end down to 40 Hz with 300 watts of power. The IP66 rated enclosure protects the sub from unfavorable environmental conditions thus providing flexibility for installation locations. Let me start off by saying that I'm no audiophile but I truly enjoy quality sound from quality manufactures. I have never heard of dayton audio and I think I have found a gem. This sub sounds amazing.. Rich bass notes and doesn't require a load of power to produce quality bass. I have this set up outside in the back yard with polk atrium 5s. If you are in the market for a outdoor sub or even indoor for that matter I think this will definitely fit you desires.

This little puppy can sure push out the low end with ease. I only wish it came in white so that the sun wouldn't make it so hot on the patio. I had to buy a small table to sit over top of it to keep it out of direct sun. I was afraid it would overheat and deform something. It was so hot to the touch that it was reading 135 degrees in the sun with my infrared reader.Solidly built, no buzzing or creaking while it's in use. Using a ParaSound Amp to drive it with ease. It is replacing a 12 Pyle from the 90's that was built into the wall that finally gave out.

Seriously impressive basscompletely filled out the hollowness of my (high quality) outdoor speakers. Paired this with a $70 FOSI amp and a S2 compatible Sonia Connect. I've had to turn the bass down because it was overwhelming. If it's cranked up and on as hard surface it will actually jump off the surface and cause a rattling sound.
