This was the first time using the probe and could not be happier with the results. Set up took a few minutes since it was my first time it wanted to go through a quick tutorial. Set it up for medium rare and the steak came out perfect. I also used my usual timer method (4 minutes per side) as a comparison and it might have taken a minute longer for it to reach temperature but the steak came out a perfect medium rare. Particularly like the fact that not only do you get the temperature of the meat you are cooking but also the ambient temperature as well. I did redline the ambient temperateure part of the probe but it was near the end of the cooking and I had placed the probe directly over a flame-up and will not make that mistake again.

Had two of these and worked great for about 4-6 months, loved them, thought they were fantastic, especially for doing pork butt. Then, the probes would not connect. Replaced the batteries in the base, deleted the app and reinstalled, NOTHING. Frustration, then in the trash and now in search of a new system.

We grill, rotisserie, or smoke at least four to five nights a week. Since receiving this as a Christmas present, it has become a vital component for me. So easy to use, it just works, and the support is Above-and-Beyond. After many uses, I had an issue with the ambient temperature not reading correctly. The Customer Service team was quick to respond and replace the unit. For Christmas this year, I asked Santa for the MEATER block to take my grilling skills even further to perfection. The online videos are very helpful too. I love the extended range by daisy-changing with another iPhone or iPad for greater distance, plus it's so easy to set-up and it just works.

I replaced my older wired probes with this one. This one is so easy to use being wireless. No hassle to use and set up The app with it also works flawlessly. It lets you know exactly when to pull the meat off for a perfect steak or whatever meat is being used.

Worked perfectly. Easy, intuitive, great product. Two filet mignon's came out perfect when grilled on a Traeger smoker to 150F internal temp. I grilled at 425F and it took about 24 minutes.

I love the form factor, love the appearance, and the functionality. Great software.That was for the first 3 month. Now it appears the thermometer isnt connecting to the base. The base flashes until I place the thermometer in the base.I changed the battery just to be sure, but nothing yet. I am HOPING that it just didnt charge, but I havent kept it off the base too often, and being a bad weather summer, I cant understand why it would lose its charge.If it wasnt for this issue, I would give it a 5 star review.I am hoping that they figure this out. If they do, I will change my rating.

Being able to see the internal temp was amazing. Waited for it to hit 198 , pulled out the brisket and it was perfect! It warns when its almost time. And notifies you when it's done. This is a Bluetooth thermometer ! Seriously recommend!

It worked the 1st time I used it but the ambient temperature wasn't even close. Been trying to use it today but the probe loses connection every 5 minutes. I've followed the instructions and it still won't work. Shoulda just bought the thermpro because this was a waste of money or mine is defective

When 15 close, it is great but as soon as you move 25 or more sea, it disconnects and can take quite some. Time to reconnect. Go away for a while and wont reconnect at all.

If you like to cook and dont want dry food anymore. Then get yourself this, it has been a game changer for our household. I cook steak, chicken, pork and never is dry and cooked to our liking. I typically use the sear plate in our air fryer or the over. It is is so easy to use, and easy for read and set up.
